Maj Gen (Dr) A. A. Tarfa
(Rtd)
Major General (Dr) A. A. Tarfa (Rtd) is a leader who
likes to lead from the front. He is an expert in strategy and risk management. Prior
to his retirement from the Military in August 2021, he served the Nigerian Army
meritoriously for over 35 years and held several key positions including
Director of Military Intelligence, Commander, Artillery and Training and
Doctrine Command. He is an astute professional with a diverse wealth of
experience in administration, logistics management and operations management.
General Tarfa (Rtd) holds a doctorate degree in Security
and Strategies Studies, M.Sc Defence and Strategic Studies, Masters of
Strategic Management and Policy Studies. He is also a fellow of the Chartered Institute
of Administration (FCAI), International Institute of Professional Security
(FIIPS), Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM) and Nigeria Army Resource Centre
(FNARC) He brings on board sound leadership and managerial skills, technical
knowledge in solving business problems.
General Tarfa (Rtd) is the Chairman of the Board of
Directors of Morgan Energy Limited.
Sunny Onekpe
Sunny is a business manager, consultant, and trainer
with over two decades of work experience. His working experience cuts across
professional accountancy practice, banking, development finance, project
management and business development.
He has been responsible for the planning,
coordinating, and reporting on several consultancy assignments including
statutory and special audits, training and capacity building, assets valuation
and property advisory, project management, research, and business process
outsourcing assignments in the public and private sectors of Nigeria, United
Kingdom and United States of America. In addition, he has been involved in the
conceptualization, initiation, and implementation of several projects in the
oil and gas, electricity supply, and information technology industries, among
others.
He is a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered
Accountants of Nigeria, The Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, and The
Institute of Chartered Project Managers of Nigeria and Member Nigerian
Institute of Management. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance, a
Master of Science in Project Management, and a Master of Business
Administration.
Sunny is the founder and Vice Chairman of Morgan
Energy Limited.
Engr
William L.C. Metieh
Engr William L. C. Metieh is a Multidisciplinary
Engineer and Scientist with UK Master’s degrees in industrial Control
Engineering from Cranfield University, and Glass Science & Technology from
The University of Sheffield, both in England.
Engr Metieh has a wide spectrum of industry
technical and management experience in administering and managing large scale
multinational manufacturing companies with multi-billion Naira turnover.
Examples include Beta Glass Industries PLC Ughelli, Delta State and Agbara,
Ogun State of Frigoglass Industries Nigeria Limited. Also, he was
simultaneously the General Manager of both the PET Ibadan and Crown Products
Ijebu-Ode factories and was later Business Development Manager at the Head
Office of Frigoglass Industries Nig Ltd, a part of the Leventis group.
He was appointed (Technical) Adviser with the
Presidential Task Force on Power (PTFP) and served as Senior Advisor Technical
to the Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency’s (NEMSA) Managing
Director/Chief Executive Officer and Chief Electrical Inspector of the
Federation.
He is a COREN registered Electrical Engineer, a
Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers; Fellow Nigerian Institute of Power
Engineers; Fellow Nigerian Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers;
Fellow Occupational Safety and Health Association; and Member Nigerian
Institute of Management.
Engr William L.C. Metieh whose core values include
integrity and attention to details is the pioneer Managing Director of Morgan
Energy Limited.
Godson
Ononiwu
Godson Ononiwu had his first degree as an
Agricultural Economist in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He also acquired
his masters in Agricultural Journalism from the University of Wisconsin,
Madison, United States of America. He currently works as the advisor to the
Group Chief Executive Officer. He is a development expert with over 48 years’
experience, working in the Nigerian public sector and donor-assisted
Agricultural Development/Agribusiness projects to enhance productivity and
incomes. He retired from the federal service when due, in the Directorate
cadre, and additionally worked for about 12 years and ended as a Director,
External Relations and Capacity Building in USAID/MARKETS project.
Mr. Ononiwu, with his vast experience, is
widely traveled and has also been involved in the implementation of rural
institutions development programme in the World bank-supported Development
Projects in the 36 states of Nigeria which involved building the capacity of
state coordinators in leadership skills and enterprise development.
Earlier in his career, he was the National Programme leader extension, Projects Coordinating Unit, Federal Ministry of Agriculture that collaborated with the National Agricultural Research System (NARS) to promote the Research-Extension-Farmer-Input-Linkage-System (REFILS) under the Training & Visit Extension system.
Benjamin Onekpe
Benjamin was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2004 as an advocate and
solicitor of the Supreme Court of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. His over
eighteen years post call experience cuts across litigations, legal drafting and
interpretation, debt recovery, commercial disputes resolution, policy
interpretations, corporate secretarial services, pension management, legal due
diligence and regulatory governance.
Benjamin holds a Bachelor’s degree in law from the Ambrose Alli
University, Ekpoma, Edo State and Bachelor of Law (BL) from the Nigerian Law
School. He is a member of the Nigeria Bar Association and also a member of the
Nigerian Institute of Management.
Franca Uka
Franca is an
associate member of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria. She holds a
Master’s in Business Administration with specialisation in Marketing from Enugu
State University of Science and Technology, Enugu, and a Bachelor’s degree in
marketing from the University of Nigeria Nsukka.
Franca has
over twelve years practical experience in the marketing of financial services.
She has also been involved in the planning, implementation, reporting and
presentation of several consulting assignment in various sectors of the Nigeria
economy including agriculture, oil and gas, power and international
development.
Bassey Okon
Bassey is a
graduate of accounting from the Cross-River University of Technology (now
University of Cross River). He is also an Associate of the Institute of
Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) with over 8 years hands-on experience
in professional accountancy practice.
Over the last couple of years, he has been actively involved in several audit and consultancy assignments both in the public and private sectors. He was a key member of the team that set-up and operationalised the Nigeria Incentive-based Risk Sharing System for Agricultural Lending (NIRSAL) Plc. a subsidiary of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). He was particularly responsible for driving the finance, accounting and regulatory compliance system in the company. In addition, Bassey was a key member of the team that carried out the 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2020 solid minerals industry audit as well as the 2017 to 2019 Fiscal Allocation and Statutory Disbursement (FASD) Audit conducted by the Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (NEITI).
Bassey is
also an experienced ICAN tutor with Pointon Academy. Specifically, he lectures
ICAN Case Study, Strategic Financial Management, Performance Management and
Management Information.
Vivian Collins
Vivian is a
Chartered Accountant with practical experience spanning over 10 years. Her core
areas of expertise include financial reporting and analysis, auditing and
investigation. Others include budgeting and strategic financial management. She
is also vast in tax planning and management among others.
Vivian is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki. As the manager in-charge of Finance and Administration, she is responsible for the overall financial planning and management of the Company.
Ese Usigbe
Ese is an
Associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM). She holds a
bachelor’s degree in mass communication from the University of Jos with over
Fifteen (15) years of corporate work experience. Her work experience transverses diverse professional
plains, ranging from Journalism, public relations, banking, real estate, and
consulting.
She has
worked in both public and private sectors which includes the Nigerian
Television Authority as a reporter under the National Assembly, Mathan Nigeria
Limited where she worked as a Public Relations Officer, the International Human
and Community Rescue Assurance Project (INTERCRAP) an international
non-governmental organisation as Project Development Officer, among others.
Ese is a
strong team player who believes in great success because of teamwork. Her drive
for excellence combined with her strong verbal, analytical and communication
skills have made her relevant on several projects. She participated in several
projects which include the audit of Solid mineral sector and the Fiscal and Statutory
Disbursement Audit for Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiatives
(NEITI) audit report, Agricultural Value Chain Upgrade for NIRSAL among others.
Nko Edu
Nko is a
finance and tax consultant with over 9 years of experience. Prior to joining
the company, she worked as a Tax Consultant with YBSM Partners in the United
Kingdom until her return to Nigeria where she worked as an audit senior with
JPC where she participated in several audit and consulting assignments both in
the public and private sectors. Her other work experience includes auditing
insurance companies and insurance brokerage firms.
Nko is a
member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and an
associate of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ACA). She holds an
MBA in Financial Management from the University of Wales and a bachelor’s in
science in Accounting from Benson Idahosa University.
Moshood Momoh
Moshood
holds a Higher National Diploma in Accounting. He has post-graduation work
experience of over two decades in the public and private sectors cutting across
bookkeeping, financial reporting, and investment analysis including auditing
and investigation.
He voluntarily retired from the services of Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) after rising to the position of Deputy Director. While in the services of JAMB he received various training, which has helped him in carrying out different assignments. Moshood brings his over two-decade experience to Morgan Energy Limited as the person in charge of special duties.
